UREEA in Usharama
Mission
The Usha Rama Electrical Engineering Association (UREEA) is a link between the faculty and the students of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. It is the body, responsible for carrying out the various welfare programs for the students of the department, and to publicize about the opportunities and achievements regarding the students and faculties. The association is made up of a varied collection of individuals who are working together to organize events such as projects, industrial visits, fresher's, farewell, guest lectures, workshops, conference, sports and interactive sessions.
Vision
To emerge as a leading Usha Rama Electrical Engineering Association that caters to the latest needs of power sector, electrical & allied industry in the region.
The UREEA will provide programs of the highest quality to produce globally competent technocrats who can address challenges of the millennium to achieve sustainable socio-economic development.
OBJECTIVES
The Program Educational Objectives have been defined so that the graduates of electrical engineering:
1. Technical Competence
Demonstrate a solid technical competence for the analysis, design and implementation of electrical systems aiming to provide electricity to people, society and industry for supporting a sustainable and continuous national development.
2. Adaptability and Achievement
Work and interact in the different levels of an engineering project, attaining proposed goals and advancing in their professional career.
3. Leadership
Lead and proactively participate in multidisciplinary teams with an attitude toward the effective achievement of objectives and goals.
4. Professionalism
Conduct themselves correctly respecting the standards and ethical principles of the profession, and projecting themselves as responsible citizens and professionals.
5. Continuing Education
Develop a continuous learning and training, assimilating the changes and advances in the profession, and completing specialization and postgraduate studies.
6.Disseminating information, spreading knowledge and awareness regarding environment, energy savings, conservation, optimum use and safety while designing and specifying.
7.To coordinate with Regulatory and Statutory bodies.
8.Become a major link between industries/ students/ faculties
