The Rise of the Intelligent Machines in IT

Artificial Intelligent has transformed complete intelligent systems and the growing hope to implement it in new technology has become the latest fusion for every development company. The dream of implementing the AI can be possible if the companies are alert, but there is also fear behind it on how to implement the AI in the intelligent Machines. We can see how AI has been transitioned from high science fiction concept to everyday reality.

The rise of the intelligent machines, this is a new concept for many like making a great scientific fiction; but in reality, the intelligent machines are more grounded than what many people realize. While these machines can invoke up the notions of big and scary robots which may plan to carry out the world.  Whereas, the machines with decision making and learning capabilities are central of attraction and leading to be more successful in business and IT processes.

The survey, entitled Intelligent Systems in Action: The rise of the machines has already begun (link is external), examines the attitudes and readiness of IT teams with regard to intelligent machines and business systems.

As per the recent survey conducted by independent research center of Firm Freeform Dynamics, it is entitled that Intelligent systems are in Action and we can see a rise of the machines that has already begun. Examine the attitude and readiness of IT teams with regard to IM’s and business systems through external links. The survey results are listed below

  •  IT Professionals with above 92% recognized that technology is now centralized towards its success.
  • Top current Application Deployment for Digitalization for customer engagement systems —ADDCES with 55%
  • Process & Automation for Workflow Systems — PAWS with 52%.
  • Automation and Risk Monitoring and Management Solutions — ARMMS with 50%.
  • Network Security, Access, and Controls — NSAC with 68%.

Here are some of the concerns and fears that IT professional need to look on how to overcome them:

Security Concerns

This is an essential part for everyone who is thinking to implement intelligent systems in their business. While you will need to think about the funding constraints as there is above 33% of funding constraints and 30 % of lack of knowledge on how to implement this intelligent system. However, there should be proper knowledge and you need to identify all the areas of worries and the primary obstacles before you adopt or use them.

For example, a fifth of respondents on these systems say that 20% has increased “noise” on the networks which are making it harder to detect these spiteful activities, but the automated and internet bot access to APIs causing systems or application issues are creating unexpected security exposures.

However, more than 2/3rd of respondents confessed that their current network security and access management capabilities are also inadequate and needed to be strengthened to handle with latest intelligent machines. Whereas 72% revealed that their network traffic monitoring and analysis systems also require reinforcing. Another 72% of respondents say the same has applied to their file or documents when it is all about security and access management systems and protocols.

Now the question is all about the potential future of the intelligent machines. The recent survey says that the future consequences of these intelligent machines depend on revealing facts; and how  IT professionals concerns will encounter the impacts of these intelligent systems activities ; along with the external third party bots, agents, and the internet connected things – on enterprise networks and infrastructures.

IT professionals need to approach the intelligent machines with eyes wide open. The network managers must grow more confident along with these intelligent systems closely, as they will become increasingly disposed to let them tackle more complex applications. However, before they jump headfirst into more advanced situations, the IT teams need to make sure that they have the right tools in place to enable both intelligent systems and support systems the IT teams are tasked to manage. Managing the internal and external intelligent automation and working with a trusted solutions partner will help any IT team to secure and control the processes before intelligent machine management grows beyond their ability to handle it.
