IBM Industrial Visit 3rd February 2017

On receiving the letter of permission from IBM,BANGLORE, students with two faculty members went to industrial visit to IBM Bannerghatta(BANGLORE) on 02-02-17.
We assembled at Benz circle (Vijayawada) on 2nd Feb 2017 at 2:30 pm and left Vijayawada by private travels bus.
We reached Bangalore at 6 am on 3rd Feb 2017and checked into Pavana Residency and got refreshed.
We started to IBM in a private bus of Bangalore and reached IBM at 10:15 am
The IBM senior manager Mr.Pramod and his team received us at the entrance and we all were taken to seminar room.
Mr.Ananth Padmanabhan gave a brief introduction about how computer can be used in our day to day lives.
Mr. Amar had explained about Business Analytics.
We also had a lecture on social marketing and roles and tools of IBM in social marketing.
We were provided a Carnatic meal provided by IBM.
After lunch we visited the work area in IBM.
Again we had session on IoT and was created awareness about E-commerce and part of IBM by Mr. Varun
We left IBM at 4:00 pm and went for shopping and returned to residency by 8:30 pm
Next day we started at 10:00 am and visited ISKON temple, Visvesvaraya Industrial and Technological Museum and started back to Vijayawada at 7:30 pm and reached safely at 9:15pm on 5-02-17 at Benz circle and dispersed back to homes.
