IEEE Student Branches are established in EEE department. Within IEEE, activities are organized geographically by Region and local Section. Students can open links to PDF files which list IEEE Student Branches by Region.

IEEE opens the door to opportunities that will help students to develop their professional identity in IEEE's designated fields of interest: sciences, technology, engineering. In addition to accessing a range of membership benefits and make global connections with people who can help students along their targeted career path through IEEE's international community of members and volunteers.

As a Student or Graduate Student member of IEEE, student have a variety of resources and valuable opportunities available to student to help advance your career.

IEEE student chapter was inaugurated in 2012 in Usha Rama College and from there onwards,in association with the EEE department,it had been actively organizing various IEEE Workshops and events like APPEM,MATLAB & Simulink,Innovations in Wind & Solar Power Systems and more recently IVSDIAP-2015 to name a few.

We had been awarded the IEEE vibrant Student award for the activities conducted through previous years.
