Coal Transportation: - Coal is transported from Talacher Orissa through wagons.

Coal Handling: - Coal received will be about 75mm size is crushed into 20mm size first then transported to bunkers through belt conveyers.

Unloading Coal: -

• Tippler Type
• Bottom Open Type

Boilers: - Based on construction 2 types

• Single pass type (or) Tower type
• Two pass boiler

For Crushing of Coal there are 2 types of mill

• Bowl Mill
• Ball Mill

Thermal Power Plant Are Classified into 2 types

• Pit Head Station(Near to source of Fuel)
• Load Demand Station(Near to load)

Thermal Power Plant is Divided into Mainly 6 Parts: -

The Total Installed Capacity of Dr. NTTPS is 1760MW
