Visited VTPS Thermal Power Plant-Vijayawada
We IIIrd Year EEE-Department students visited "Dr. NTTPS(VTPS)" at Ibrahimpatnam, Krishna District, Vijayawada on 2-01-2017.
In this process, we have observed...
- Coal Handling Plant, means receiving coal from wagon (out side).
- Pulverizing Mills means coal will be separated in different sizes
- Boiler means coal will be heated at high temperature.
- Turbines means heat energy will be converted into mechanical energy
- Generator means mechanical energy into electrical energy.
- Control unit means it controls all the equipment in the plant
- Switchyard means distributing power to different substations.
